WASHING ADVICE
DO ALWAYS WASH THE CLOTHES BEFORE USE!!
Not that they are dirty, but all fabric has received a treatment to make it easier to handle sewing it and it ALWAYS has leftovers from the dying process. This is very important for the small people but it’s a good advice for all clothes lovers. WASHING All our styles are marked with 40º machine wash and tumble drying on a medium heat program to preserve the garments. because water properties are different from place to place this gives the best result, assuming that the amount of soap used is the recommended . This is best for both baby and the nature. Do always wash with similar colours, if you don’t want your whites gray. Do always iron it on the reversed side, so the iron do not get in direct contact the the print. If the garment gets totally grubby in strawberry jam or what can be worse, there is always the soak method. SHRINKAGE All the styles are made from 100% cotton and cotton always shrinks during washing and especially during the tumble drying. Shrinkage is more common in the length of the garment more than in the width, but by stretching the garment lightly while it is wet, it will compensate for the small shrinkage. Do always use the tumble dryer on low heat. The best way to avoid the shrinkage is to air-dry or stop the tumble dryer program before the clothes are completely dry. Leave the garment flat on a towel on a table or on the hang dryer until completely dried. We have made our own test washing at 60º. It is possible, best for the whites, but the prints and the fibers of the fabric deteriorate quicker, which give them an old and used look. It is not recommended for silver/gold prints. |
